Our fee structure is straightforward: we are compensated on a per-resale basis when a transfer successfully completes. Franchisors can bring us on to manage their transfer pipeline without any upfront financial commitment. If a deal does not close, you owe us nothing.
How We Work
Every transfer we manage follows a disciplined, proven sequence built from thousands of hours managing franchise resales across national brands. Nothing falls through the cracks.
Contact the seller to discuss their store, review the transfer checklist, and help them evaluate cash flow multiples and how banks lend on a business.
We provide a basic P&L template for the seller to complete, creating a clear financial picture to support an accurate and defensible valuation.
Coach the seller on how to handle a call with potential buyers and what information to have ready for their first conversation.
Work with the seller to market the store online, with a broker, or with existing business owners in their area.
If a web ad is desired, we provide a questionnaire and post the listing, naming the brand or industry, while screening incoming leads.
We research and customize a targeted lead list based on the seller's specific market.
Once a qualified lead is identified, we have them sign an NDA, answer their questions about the brand, and facilitate a warm email introduction between seller and buyer.
Provide a sample asset purchase agreement for the parties to use as a starting point once they've reached terms on price and structure.
Once buyer and seller reach agreement, we provide the transfer checklist to the buyer, outlining all information the franchisor requires for franchisee approval.
If the buyer is signing a new franchise agreement, we manage the formal disclosure process in accordance with franchisor requirements and regulatory timelines.
Assemble a complete, submission-ready file for the franchisor containing all required paperwork for buyer approval, so nothing comes back incomplete.
Once required documents are received, coordinate a Discovery Day or virtual approval call between the prospective franchisee and the franchisor.
Upon approval, coordinate training between the buyer and the franchisor, the seller, or both, depending on the brand's training requirements.
Confirm that the landlord has approved the transfer and get involved in negotiations if necessary to keep the timeline on track.
Connect with the escrow agency as necessary to ensure all funds and documentation are properly managed ahead of the closing date.
Provide wire instructions for the transfer fee to be paid at closing, ensuring a clean and professional conclusion to the transaction.
